Setting itself apart from the crowd of English and Irish pubs, The Kiwi Sports Pub & Grill is not only Bangkok’s Home of Rugby, but a warm and inviting destination for both expats and tourists in the heart of the city.
Thousands called The Kiwi on Soi 8 their home for years, but, in June 2018, the pub moved just a short distance down the road to Soi Preeda, the first Soi 8 side street coming from Sukhumvit Road.
While the location changed, the great service, food, drink and sport did not and the “new Kiwi” is even more popular and better reviewed than before, as evidenced by our TripAdvisor “Certificate of Excellence” for 2019.
The Kiwi is famous for being a bit more laid back than other Bangkok sports pubs. It certainly buzzes during the big NRL and Super Rugby matches, but is also a place where couples and even families can come for the Sunday Carvery.
As for sport, The Kiwi’s big screens show a wide range of sports, both from New Zealand and Australia, but also the U.S. and Europe. Opening at 7 a.m., you can catch US MLB and NFL games lives and, open until late, it’s easy to watch Premier League matches from England.
The Kiwi’s second floor, complete with pool table and dart board, is also a great place to host your next party.
